CUET-UG exam 2024 will be conducted from 15th May to 24th May, 2024 by NTA in pen-paper/ computer-based mode.

CUET 2024 Information Bulletin (Brochure)

CUET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Here is the eligibility and qualification criteria for CUET 2024 :
- For appearing in the CUET, there is no age limit for the candidates.
- The candidates who have passed the class 12th /equivalent examination or are appearing in 2024 irrespective of their age can appear in CUET 2024 examination.
- The candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria (if any) of the University (ies) in which they are desirous of taking admission.
CUET 2024 Registration
The CUET 2024 registration begins from 27 February and ends on 31 March 2024. Candidates have to submit the online application at NTA CUET website.
How to Apply for CUET 2024?
Steps to fill the CUET application form online :
- Open the NTA CUET website.
- Click on "CUET (UG) - 2024 Click Here for Registration/Login".
- Under "Steps to apply online", click on "New Candidate Register Here".
- Read the instructions carefully and select the checkbox "I have downloaded the Information Bulletin of CUET(UG) - 2024, read and understood all the Instructions therein as well as those mentioned above, and will fill up the online Application Form for the CUET (UG) - 2024 accordingly."
- Proceed to apply online by clicking on "Click here to Proceed".
- Select Login and Identification Method for online submission of Application Form.
- Fill the Registration Form, Enter Security Pin and Submit the form.
- Note down the system generated Application Number.
- Complete the Application Form.
- Upload the scanned images of Photograph and Signature in correct specification.
- Pay the Application fee and take a print out of the confirmation page after successful remittance of fee.
Which Login and Identification Method to Use for CUET 2024 Online Application Form?
Candidate needs to select any one of the following Login and Identification Method to register for CUET-UG.
- Aadhaar Number Authentication
- Digilocker account through the NAD portal
- Academic Bank of Credits ID (ABC ID) through the ABC ID
- Indian Passport Number
- Non-Indian Passport Number
- PAN Card Number
- School/ Any other valid Govt. Identity Card with photograph
Note : Candidates should use their own Aadhaar/Identity proof (Don't use your parents/relative identity) to create login as your Aadhaar/Identity proof will be used for verification/authentication purpose at different stages of exam. Using anyone's else Aadhaar/Identity card may result in cancellation of your candidature.
Those candidates who do not wish to register through Aadhaar Number, need to report early (one hour prior to the entry time) at the examination Centre on the day of the CUET examination.
Documents Required to Fill CUET Application Form:
- Scanned clear photograph in JPG/JPEG format (size between 10 kb–200 kb).
- Scanned clear signature in JPG/JPEG format (size between 4 kb–30 kb).
- Category certificate if applicable (SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc.) in PDF format (size between 50 kb–300 kb).
- Aadhar Card OR other ID proof OR Qualifying examination admit card with photograph.
- Class 10 and 12 or equivalent Mark Sheets to fill education details.
- Credit card, Debit card or Net banking details for online fee payment.

CUET 2024 Examination Centres
CUET 2024 will be conducted in major cities and towns of India as well as abroad (Manama Bahrain, Colombo, Doha, Dubai, Jakarta Indonesia, Kuwait, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, Nepal, Thailand, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, Washington D.C. USA, Brazil, South Africa, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Russia, Canada, Mauritius, Australia, Austria, Abuja/Lagos Nigeria). While applying, candidates must select four centre cities for the computer-based examination. The list of exam centres are given in the information bulletin of CUET. The choice of exam cities will be displayed to the candidates based on the permanent and present address filled in the Online Application Form.
CUET 2024 Normalization Process for Compilation of NTA Scores
The NTA is planning to do the CUET (UG) 2024 examination in a single shift for each
language/subject/General Test, so that the need for Normalization will not exist. However, under unavoidable
circumstances, if any subject is conducted in multi-shifts, then normalization will be done. The performance of every
candidate will be evaluated using the equi-percentile method wherein normalized marks of each candidate will be
calculated using the percentiles of each group of students in a given shift across multiple days for the same subject.

Yes. A candidate who wants to get admission in any UG courses in any Central University or its affiliated colleges must appear in CUET (UG).

Is CUET required for NRI students wanting to take admission in a central university like DU?

How much rank is required in CUET for admission in a top DU college?
Admission in DU colleges will happen on the basis of CUET NTA score. The CUET score card will not contain rank.
How do I choose the tests in CUET?
Your choice of subjects/ Language /General test in CUET will depend on the requirements of the desired University/ies for the desired course. Before selecting the tests, visit the website of the University where you want to take admission and read carefully the details relating to courses offered, eligibility, tests that should appear in, for admission to the desired course.
