NEET-UG 2020 : Information Bulletin, Registration, Exam Schedule

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) is a single medical entrance examination for Admission to MBBS and BDS courses in all medical colleges (including AIIMS and JIPMER) around the country. The NEET 2020 exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on 3rd May, 2020.

Last Opportunity for Completing the Application Process of NEET 2020 [New]
NEET 2020 candidates who have already completed the Step-I of submission of Application Form and registered themselves for NEET-UG examination are now allowed to complete the Step-II, III and IV between 03-02-2020 and 09-02-2020 2020 (up to 11:50 pm). Step II: Fill in the complete Application Form. Step III: Uploading of scanned images. Step IV: Payment of Fee and Status of receipt of Online Application Form with Fee.
NEET 2020 Correction in Application Form
NEET 2020 application form correction facility is available now (from 15.01.2020 to 31.01.2020). Candidates are advised to make the correction in application form, if any, during this correction window. No corrections shall be allowed under any circumstances after 31st January 2020.

NEET 2020 Change in Exam Pattern
There is no change in NEET 2020 exam pattern. NEET 2020 entrance test shall consist of one paper of duration 03 hours.
Sections: Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology)
Total No. Of Questions: 180 Objective type questions
Physics : 45 questions
Chemistry : 45 questions
Biology (Botany + zoology) : 90 questions
Each question carries 4 marks for every correct answer. There is also negative marking, deducting 1 mark for every wrong answer.

NEET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-technology at the qualifying examination.
For Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% marks for Unreserved and General-EWS candidates.
Those who are appearing in Class XII examination in 2020 can appear for the NEET-UG 2020 entrance test provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later. He/she has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course.
Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Persons with Indian Origin (PIO) & Foreign Nationals are eligible to appear in NEET-UG 2020. Indian Citizens/ Overseas Citizen of India intending to pursue MBBS/ BDS from a foreign Medical/ Dental Institute need to qualify NEET-UG 2020.
