NEET-UG 2020 Exam Details : New Changes and Eligibility Criteria
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) is a single medical entrance examination for Admission to MBBS and BDS courses in all medical colleges (except AIIMS and JIPMER) around the country. The NEET 2020 exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in May 2020.
NEET-UG 2020 entrance test will be conducted for the 100% merit positions in the Medical/Dental Colleges of India. There are also State Governments/Universities/Institutions participating in the NEET-UG 2020 for using its merit list for admission in the Medical Colleges/Dental Colleges against seats under their control.

Is NEET-UG 2020 Online Twice a Year?
It’s not yet decided whether NEET-UG 2020 will be Conducted in Online (CBT) mode, twice a year. Right now you should consider the NEET-UG 2020 exam in existing format (i.e. pen-paper mode) and once a year only.

NEET 2020 Change in Exam Pattern
As of now, there is no change in NEET 2020 exam pattern. NEET 2020 entrance test shall consist of one paper of duration 03 hours.
Sections: Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology)
Total No. Of Questions: 180 Objective type questions
Physics : 45 questions
Chemistry : 45 questions
Biology (Botany + zoology) : 90 questions
Each question carry 4 marks for every correct answer. There is also negative marking, deducting 1 mark for every wrong answer.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020 for admissions to medical colleges will be held in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Oriya and Urdu.
NEET 2020 Change in Syllabus

NEET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-technology at the qualifying examination.
For Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% for General candidates. Further, for persons for locomotor disability of lower limbs, the minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required.
Those who are appearing in Class XII examination in 2020 can appear for the NEET-UG 2020 entrance test provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later. He/she has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course.
