IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) is an online MCQ examination consisting of questions from Physics, Chemistry, Math and Biology. There are four options of each question and the candidate has to choose the right option which can be reviewed or reanswered any time during the duration of the examination. IISER Aptitude Test 2025 : Number of Questions
The total number of questions in IISER aptitude test is 60. There will be 15 questions asked from each subject - Physics, Chemistry, Math, Biology in the IAT paper.
IISER Aptitude Test 2025 : Total Marks and Cutoff
IISER aptitude test total marks is 240. IISER aptitude test marking scheme : Physics - 60 marks, Chemistry - 60 marks, Math - 60 marks, Biology - 60 marks.
IISER Aptitude Test 2025 : Negative Marking
There is negative marking in the IISER aptitude test. 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in the IAT paper.
