Almost all students aspiring for IIT-JEE face the same problem. During my preparation, I used to forget theory points no matter how many times I read it. Then I asked my teachers – What should I do to improve memory?
They said that writing is the best way. You always remember better when you write things by hand rather than read from a book.
Making Notes to Remember Everything for IIT JEE
I prepared concise notes for all chapters and wrote down only those points that I would forget. This way I had my own handbook for all subjects. I read this for all my periodic tests and in a few months time, all points were ingrained in my mind. This was especially useful for inorganic chemistry.
Later, towards the end of my preparation, I made notes of difficult problems and their solutions so that I would remember the method to solve tricky problems. Every time I come across a new problem that is difficult to solve, I would note it down with solution.
This method of taking notes has helped me greatly in JEE Main and JEE Advanced as I was able to recollect with great speed.
All the best for JEE!
