Strategy to achieve NEET goals.

What to do when you don’t feel like studying for NEET? What do you need to achieve your goals in NEET preparation? Is it motivation or desire? Motivation is short lived and doesn’t lead to consistent action. Desire is useless without hard work and effort.

Best Strategy to Achieve Goals in NEET Preparation

The best way to achieve your goals in NEET preparation is to make a study plan. Planning out when and how you will study will result in action. If you do plan out when and how you are going to finish a topic or chapter, your goal has a time and a space to live in the real world. If you don’t plan out your studies, then you rely on your willpower and motivation to inspire you to act.

“Deciding in advance when and where you will take specific actions to reach your goal can double or triple your chances for success.” –  Heidi Grant Halvorson, Columbia University professor.

That desire out of you and turns it into action isn’t your level of motivation, but rather your plan for implementation.

Important : You have to execute your study plan asap. Don’t over-plan. Defining how the problem could be solved isn’t actually solving the problem.

Not Able to Study for NEET?

Sometimes you won’t be able to study for NEET  -  no matter how perfect is your study plan. In situations like these, it’s great to use the if–then” version of this strategy.

For example –

  • If I don’t study for 4 hours daily, then I won’t play my favorite sport or turn on the TV, until I do.
  • If I am not able to complete this topic today, then I will wake up early in the morning to finish it.

The “if–then” strategy gives you a clear plan for overcoming the shortfall or unused time.

If you want to achieve your NEET goals, then you need a plan for exactly when and how you’re going to study.
