How to get into IISER?
IISERs consider JEE Advanced score for admission, but not JEE Main and NEET. IISER also selects students on the basis of its own entrance exam. If your concepts are strong, then it will be easy for you to clear the IISER entrance exam. IISER institutes are located in Pune, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Berhampur, Thiruvananthapuram and Tirupati.
IISc Admission Process for BS Program
IISc Bangalore takes admission in BS program on the basis of KVPY, JEE Main, JEE Advanced and NEET-UG exams. To apply for admission in the Bachelor of Science (Research) i.e. BS program in IISc, eligible candidates should fill the online application form on IISc website.

Note : KVPY exam is discontinued from 2022 by DST (Department of Science and Technology). IISc will not consider KVPY channel for admissions in BS program from 2023.

Is there any entrance exam for IISc?
IISc doesn’t conduct any entrance exam for admission in undergraduate courses, rather it selects students on the basis of JEE and NEET ranks.
Will IISc start its own entrance exam after the KVPY exam is discontinued (canceled)?
IISc starting its own entrance exam like IISER is highly unlikely as DST has cited the cost of conducting the KVPY exam as one of the reasons for its discontinuation.
How to get into IISc without KVPY?
With KVPY gone, candidates can get admission in IISc through JEE Main, Advanced and NEET-UG exams.
