What should be the strategy to attempt the NEET paper for best performance?<\/p>\n<p>In this post, we will cover the NEET paper attempting strategy, how to solve the NEET question paper, NEET topper\u2019s strategy to attempt the paper, and managing time while answering the NEET exam.<\/p>\n<h2>NEET Paper Attempting Strategy 2025<\/h2>\n<p>Attempting the NEET paper requires a strategic approach. The best way to attempt the NEET paper is &#8211; Biology, Chemistry and Physics. It\u2019s recommended for all candidates. However, you can also choose the subject as per your strength. It varies from person to person.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Strategy to follow before and on NEET exam day :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a plan ready on how you will attempt the paper. You can do it by practicing your strategy in mock tests.<\/li>\n<li>Give some mock tests between 2 to 5 pm (NEET exam timing).<\/li>\n<li>Sleep well a day before the exam, minimum 7-8 hours.<\/li>\n<li>Reach the exam center at reporting time and take your seat without any rush and hurry.<\/li>\n<li>Go to the washroom 20-30 minutes before the exam starts.<\/li>\n<li>Stay calm before the exam. Don\u2019t let the last minute nervousness affect your hard work so far.<\/li>\n<li>Believe that you will be able to answer the majority of questions in the paper.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Best Way to Solve NEET Paper<\/h2>\n<p>Strategy to follow while solving the NEET paper :<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Start the paper with your preferred subject, usually it\u2019s Biology.<\/li>\n<li>Solve maximum questions (easy and moderate) in Biology without taking too much time.<\/li>\n<li>Next is Chemistry, keep solving questions.<\/li>\n<li>Physics is mostly the last section that students attempt. Do your best.<\/li>\n<li>Attempt questions as per the difficulty level &#8211; first easy, then moderate, and lastly tough.<\/li>\n<li>Read the question and options carefully.<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t get disheartened if you are not able to solve a few questions at the start, keep solving the next questions.<\/li>\n<li>Come back to your missed questions, read again, explore the options and you may be able to find the answer this time.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mystudycart.com\/blog\/filling-omr-sheet-neet\/\">Fill the OMR sheet<\/a> as soon as you solve a question or after completing the section. Don\u2019t leave it for the last.<\/li>\n<li>Do the rough work in order so that you can recheck your calculations if required.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>NEET Topper\u2019s Strategy to Attempt the Paper<\/h2>\n<p>How do toppers solve the NEET paper? Given below is the strategy of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quora.com\/profile\/Anurag-Kumar-253\">Anurag Kumar<\/a> (AIIMS, Delhi) :<\/p>\n<p><em>First round: Out of 180, do all the easy questions which don&#8217;t require thinking, or which are similar to those you&#8217;ve practiced before. I did roughly 150 in the 1st round. I never skipped the sequence, started from Question 1 and went to 180 in sequence. (But if you are really weak in a subject, then you may attempt it at the end). 2 hr 20 minutes should be fine.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Second round: I focused on those questions which required thinking. Took another 20 minutes<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Third round: For those 5 questions about which I had no idea. Sometimes I just eliminated two options, and guessed (Probability of being correct being 0.5). Sometimes, I left when I couldn&#8217;t.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Don&#8217;t spend more than 2 minutes on a question in the 1st round. It will give you nothing but stress. And even if you solve it, you might not have enough time for the rest.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>How to manage time while answering the NEET exam?<\/h2>\n<p>The ideal way to manage time while answering the NEET exam.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Aim to finish the Biology within 45-50 minutes. This includes the time for both answering questions and marking them on the OMR sheet.<\/li>\n<li>Try to finish Chemistry within next 50 to 55 minutes. If you can&#8217;t solve a question, skip it and come back to it later. Make sure to fill in your answers on the answer sheet during this time.<\/li>\n<li>Physics usually takes about 1 hour. If you&#8217;re stuck on a question, move on and come back to it later. Fill in your answers on the answer sheet as you go.<\/li>\n<li>After completing all three subjects, you should have around 15 to 20 minutes left.
