NTSE exam is conducted in 2 stages and is open only to class 10 students. The NTSE Stage-1 is conducted in each and every state and union territory and few toppers are selected from the large pool of students to appear for NTSE Stage-2.   3. Be careful about the tricky parts. At my time, there were a few questions from a relatively unknown topic called \u201cSequential Output tracing\u201d. Very few people could do it. Thus, it helps to know all the types of questions which can possibly be asked in the exam.<\/li>\n
  4. Start from simple books like RD Sharma\/ RS Aggarwal in Math<\/strong>. Master them fully. Most of the states pick up NTSE stage-I questions directly from these books.<\/li>\n
  5. Cover the topics that are not part of CBSE syllabus but part of state syllabus. For e.g:- In Tamil Nadu syllabus, we had logarithms, matrices, 3-D geometry etc. which was not in CBSE.<\/li>\n
  6. Science<\/b> requires a lot of interest on the reader\u2019s part for the concepts to be assimilated well. To get an idea of the level of the questions, solve previous year question papers and master your state syllabus.<\/li>\n
