A JEE aspirant asked this question – “Coaching modules have many complex questions and daily I solve nearly 20 in each subject (PCM). End up consuming all the time. Is it worth doing to clear IIT-JEE?”<\/em><\/p>\n

The answer is both yes and no.<\/p>\n

It depends on how you are \u201csolving\u201d the problem.<\/strong> A question does not end with just getting the right answer. Instead, after getting the correct answer, you should ponder over how else you could have solved that problem.<\/p>\n

For example: You solve a problem using kinematics equations. Then don\u2019t just jump to another question, but think about, can this be solved using the Work-energy theorem?<\/p>\n

If yes, which one of the two would you have applied for in the exam conditions.<\/p>\n

If no, why? What is missing? and so on.<\/p>\n

The \u201ctrick\u201d is to be inquisitive throughout your IIT JEE preparation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So in your case, if you are solving 20 \u201ccomplex\u201d questions in each subject, but if you are thinking about all the various dimensions of the questions, then \u201cending up consuming all the time\u201d is totally worth it.<\/p>\n
