Students who want to crack BITSAT exam, often ask this question – “What extra needed for BITSAT, If I am a JEE aspirant?” <\/em>If you are preparing for JEE, you don\u2019t need to do something special for BITSAT. The syllabus, topics and concepts are the same for Physics, Chemistry and Math. For BITSAT, you have to prepare for a couple of additional sections- English and Reasoning.<\/p>\n

According to Lohit Marodia, a student of BITS-Pilani,\u00a0– \u201cBITSAT is not at all of JEE Level. BITSAT is more about speed. I would say BITSAT is also easier than JEE Main.\u201d<\/p>\n

While JEE Main have 90 questions (30 each of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics), BITSAT<\/a> is having 100 questions of PCM. 30 each in Physics & Chemistry, and 40 Math questions. The test duration is same i.e. 3 hours both for both the exams. So you need to solve more questions in BITSAT as compare to JEE Main.<\/p>\n

2. English and Reasoning Section in BITSAT<\/h3>\n

Along with PCM, there are two more sections in BITSAT – English and Logical Reasoning (with 10 and 20 questions respectively). According to Lohit, the only thing which trouble students in BITSAT<\/strong> is the English Section where there are questions on Vocabulary section which becomes quite difficult. So it\u2019s important that you have strong command in English and have gone through some examples, similar to the type of questions asked in BITSAT previous year papers<\/a>.<\/p>\n
