Cracking JEE requires smart preparation. Here, I am going to tell you the right method one should adopt while practicing and preparing for IIT JEE.<\/p>\n<p><em>This is a guest post from Anmol Thakkar (IIT Kharagpur).<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>1. Understanding Basic Concepts<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">JEE tests your Basics. Without this Ground Step, you cannot rise High. Be really thorough with the Concepts. Make Summary Sheets to revise Important Concepts and Formulas weekly. Use one\/ two Good Books and the Internet for this.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>2. Practicing Questions for JEE<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is the Crucial STEP. The way you do it defines Everything.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>When you take up a Question,<\/b> t<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">he very first thing is to Understand the Question. In JEE the questions are a bit Descriptive and Tricky. You better have a good Understanding of what is being asked and what is given to you.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now think of the Formulas that you will be using to solve it. Or <\/span><b>Virtually figure how you will be solving that question<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Now If you are sure that you can answer it, Move ahead and solve it. Ensure that it does not take much time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you <\/span><b>still have no Clue how to go about it<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Skip that question<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Do not let that question Eat up your time. This should be done really fast. Say If you allocate (1.5 &#8211; 2) minutes for a question. Skip that under 45 Seconds. Try for even less!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After you <\/span><b>complete the paper once<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Go through the questions which you could not do in your first attempt. <\/span><b>Solve them Now<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. There is a good probability that you will make it this time.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now just Imagine If you follow this not just in Exams but in all of your practice Sessions. How strong will you get at solving Questions?<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<h2>3. Critical Analysis of Oneself | Ways to Avoid Mistakes<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After Solving a Question One should start evaluating himself in terms of <\/span><b><i>Speed, Line of thought (thought process) and Accuracy<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maintain a <\/span><b>Proper Rough Notebook<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Revise your Rough Notebook. What to Revise? Here you go &#8211;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Keep a track record of time you spend on solving a question. Write it on the same page where you solve the question. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mark any new Problem Solving Technique that you used to solve that question.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Write there What went wrong or Right when you were solving that Question.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mark your <a href=\"https:\/\/mystudycart.com\/blog\/avoid-silly-mistakes-in-jee-main\/\">Silly Mistakes<\/a> which you made while Solving that Question.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Identify Unnecessary Calculations and avoid them next time.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Revise this Rough Notebook every time before starting your problem solving session. Your mind will always keep track of your mistakes and your problem solving.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>Techniques, Making you Stronger.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You would literally get Unbeatable.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Last but not the least,<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>4.
